Exclusive! THIS is what Minus One: New Chapter’s Ayush Mehra is going to do next

While he has managed to make his space in the world of OTT with multiple successful web series and short films, Ayush Mehra - the male protagonist of the newly released series Minus One: New Chapter - has more interesting plans to fuel his acting career.

In an exclusive conversation with OTTplay, Ayush said, “Well, I am really working hard to further build my career. I started with theatre and then did a few ad films, before I got into working with FilterCopy video content. Eventually, some really good projects happened to me and it’s been a long and interesting journey. Right now, I am waiting for the audiences’ response to Minus One: New Chapter. Meanwhile, my film with Radhika Madan, titled Kacchey Limbu, which is produced by Jio Studio, is set to release soon. It’s also directed by Subham Yogi, who directed this show. Although there are a few other things that I am working on, I cannot talk about them elaborately at this moment."

Starting his acting career in 2010 with Isi Life Mein...!, Ayush became popular with web series like When You Meet Your Ex, Please Find Attached, Operation MBBS, Call My Agent: Bollywood and Life Love Siyaapa, to name a few. He also worked as an assistant director in the Vicky Kaushal-starrer National Award-winning film Uri: The Surgical Strike. The actor has worked in short films like Phone Call and Recommended For You.

Minus One: New Chapter is created by Sidhantha Mathur and Shubham. It also features Aisha Ahmed and Kusha Kapila, and is currently streaming on Lionsgate Play and OTTplay app. The show is an unflinching tale of love, heartbreaks and friendship between Varun (Ayush) and Riya (Aisha).
