Exclusive! Tanuj Virwani on Abhay 3: You almost get to meet the villain of the week with every episode

Abhay 3, starring Kunal Kemmu in the lead role, is ready to be back on people’s small screens. The web series, which has won over many, has also been actor Tanuj Virwani’s favourite. Tanuj, who is a part of the show this time around, said Abhay is almost like meeting the villain of the week with every episode.

Calling the show fascinating, Tanuj added, “Over a couple of episodes, you get to see more and more kinds of crazy people out there in the show.” The actor also mentioned that Abhay has been one of the shows that stood the test of time. Tanuj called that a remarkable quality of Abhay.

Last seen in Inside Edge season 3, Tanuj said that people should invest their time in watching Abhay 3 as well. He spilled a little about the plot and shared, “It’s about this no nonsense cop and even though his personal life may be going up in flames, he's always ready to look for the next serial killer or solve the next problem and you know it’s absolutely amazing.”

Tanuj also mentioned about the ‘golden age of streaming’ and praised the content on these OTT platforms not only in India but across the globe. For the uninitiated, the actor has received most of his recognition through web series. He shined out as Vayu Raghavan in Inside Edge franchise. More recently, Tanuj was also acclaimed for his performance as Major Bhau in Cartel. He is now a part of Abhay 3.

Abhay mainly stars Kunal, Asha Negi and Nidhi Singh in the lead roles. The series revolves around the life of the supercop, Abhay (played by Kunal). This time around, Divya Agarwal, Tanuj, Vidya Malvade, Viajy Raaz and Rahul Dev have joined the series.

The web series will be available on Zee5. It will start streaming from April 8, 2022.
