Celebrated ghazal singer and actor Talat Aziz, who will soon be seen playing a crucial part in the upcoming film Gulmohar starring Sharmila Tagore and Manoj Bajpayee, reveals an interesting habit of actor Manoj Bajpayee that he noticed on the set during the shoot of the film in Delhi.

Sharing a special memory with Manoj, Talat told OTTplay, "Shooting for Gulmohar was like a get-together of artists, the way a family meets. We used to eat some mouth-watering food from Purani Dilli, and Manoj used to order the most. Manoj loves serving food, but eats as little as a bird. So, one day, I asked him, 'Bhai, aap kyun nahi khate hain, bas hume khilatein rehte hai?' Manoj laughed and put some more food on my plate, and said, 'I love feeding people'."

Talat then played a prank on Manoj, making a plan with Life of Pi-famed actor Suraj Sharma, who plays Manoj's onscreen son. Telling us about it, Talat said, "Suraj and I realised that Manoj was feeding us and making us fat, whereas he was eating little and staying fit. So, we also wanted to feed him. So, when lunch was served, Suraj and I placed nihari on Manoj's plate and said, 'Bhai, ab to aapko bhi khana padega.' We ate together, and it was a joyful time." Talat believes that the off-screen friendship, respect, and warmth that every actor in the film shared translated in the film.

Talat has been seen in TV series like Sailaab, Ghutan, Noorjahan, films like Fitoor, and the anthology Modern Love: Mumbai.

Gulmohar, directed by Rahul V Chittella, and starring Amol Palekar, Suraj Sharma, Simran, and Kaveri Seth, among others, will release on March 3 on Disney+ Hotstar.
