As per sources close to the team, Solanki dropped out of the series due to a dispute with the director.

Solanki Roy took a break from her popular serial Gaatchora and was gearing up to debut on OTT. The actress was scheduled to work opposite Ballabhpurer Roopkotha-fame Satyam Bhattacharya in a comedy series with a working title, C/O Chowdhury Bari. However, as per sources close to the team, Solanki dropped out of the series due to a dispute with the director. She is now replaced by another television sensation, Mon Phagun actress Srijla Guha. 

The family drama also features Kanchan Mullick, Chandreyee Ghosh, Paran Bandyopadhyay, Shantilal Mukherjee, Rwitobroto Mukherjee, Soham Maitra, Anashua Majumdar, Durbar Sharma, and others. The working title of the series is C/O Chowdhury Bari. The look set has already been done and the team has started shooting. However, The shooting is currently stopped after one of the key actors Paran Bandyopadhyay fell ill. 

Satyam, meanwhile, has just returned from Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh after the shooting of Byomkesh O Durgo Rohosyo. The actor will be seen as one of the key characters, Manilal, in Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay’s magnum opus. Directed by Birsa Dasgupta, the film will feature Dev as Byomkesh, Rukmini Maitra as Satyabati, and Ambarish Bhattacharya as Ajit. 

On the other hand, after her huge popularity as Khori in Star Jalsha serial Gantchora, Solanki has expressed her interest in working in films and series. While playing Khori, she paired up with her hit co-star Vikram Chatterjee for Aritra Sen’s Shohorer Ushnotomo Dine. the actress was supposed to debut on OTT with this show. However, that plan is now postponed for a while.
