Exclusive! Sandipta Sen on her wedding plans: I will take 10 days off from work to get married

Noshtoneer-actress Sandipta Sen is on cloud nine. She is all set to tie the knot with her long-term boyfriend Soumya Mukherjee, who is one of the top bosses of Hoichoi. They will tie the knot on December 7. However, their engagement ceremony will be on December 2.

Elaborating on her plans, Sandipta told OTTplay, “While all the clothes for gifting are ready, Soumya and I are yet to buy our wedding attire.” She has planned to wear a Banarasi sari and one of her stylist friends is in Varanasi to find the perfect trousseau for her. “My mother is supervising my wardrobe. I am planning it according to my choice. The wedding jewellery shopping is almost done,” she said. 

Sandipta and Soumya will have their favorite food items on the menu. “My favourite chingri malaikari will be there. Soumya’s favourite pulao and mangsho will also be there. Soumya and his friends are all fans of biryani. Hence it will be there on the engagement day,” she said.

Sandipta refused to follow any strict diet. “I am gorging on everything. I can’t starve. Also, Puja is here and hence I will be eating a lot,” she joked. 

Sandipta’s Bodhon 2 is all set to be dropped on Hoichoi. She will also be seen in the second season of Noshtoneer. How many days of break would she take for her wedding? “I think four days after and six days before D-Day. That’s all I think,” she said.
