Stand-up comedian and actress Jamie Lever got a chance to work with her father, Bollywood actor Johnny Lever, in the recently released web series Pop Kaun? 

The show also stars other veteran actors from the Hindi film industry, including the late Satish Kaushik, Saurabh Shukla, Rajpal Yadav, and Chunky Panday. Jamie spoke to OTTplay about working with them, and especially her father.

Jamie said, "This is the first time that I have worked with my father. And after working with him in this Pop Kaun?, I realised, 'Baap baap hote hai, aur hum bachche hai! (laughs)'. I have a lot to learn. I realised that there is so much more that I can do with my performance. This is a special great show for me, because I have learned something from all the veteran actors - be it Saurabh sir or Chunky sir - and also Kunal (Kemmu)."

Speaking about what it was like being on the same set as her father, Johnny, Jamie said, "Of course, as a father, he was protective of me, especially because this is our first series together. The other day he told my mother something which was a big compliment for me. He said, 'I think she knows what she is doing; she knows her job'. My father won't praise me openly, but he said that to mummy and that's a huge deal for me! Through this show, I got the chance to play multiple characters, and that's saying something for my debut web series."

Jamie has worked with her actor brother Jessi Lever on the travel show, A Spin Around Dubai.
