After theatres, the Nushrratt Bharuccha and Anud Singh starrer Janhit Mein Jaari is finally available to stream on OTT. The Jai Basantu Singh directorial follows the tale of a woman who fights all odds to influence and educate people about the importance of condoms in their lives. The social drama also features a love angle between Manokamna Tripathi and Ranjan, played by Nushrratt and Anud respectively. Talking about the movie, the diva mentioned that it's not just educational but also a laughter riot.
Even though the film did not achieve big success commercially, it is receiving quite positive responses from the audience. Speaking about the same, Nushrratt shared her personal moments with fans and said, "We have been getting audience reactions from the first screening itself. I remember doing an influencers' shoot and all of those people had specifically come because they had seen the film and they wanted to create content on the film and the topic, and I haven't seen a room full of people so excited to do it because they genuinely enjoyed and liked the film."
"From the critics to the general audiences - everyone has given us such great feedback on every day basis. I can't really pick a few, but I can say that at the gist of it— people loved the fact that we picked a subject like this which is so important to talk about," she added.
The Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor further mentioned, "Another aspect that is being loved is that the film is not preachy, it can make you laugh, enjoy and have fun. The film can also be watched with your families and people have watched it with their fathers, mothers or daughters. I have personally gone to the theatres and waited till the end after the film to see the audiences' reactions and they have just had a blast watching the film. It's a great feeling!"
Janhit Mein Jaari, which also has Tinnu Anand, Vijay Raaz and Paritosh Tripathi in other pivotal roles, is available to stream on ZEE5.
