Exclusive! Nayan Rahashya: Sandip Ray is down with a fever in Chennai, team to postpone the Mahabalipuram shooting

The shooting of Feluda’s next film, Nayan Rahashya, was in full swing. Feluda, aka Indraneil Sengupta, Jatayu, aka Abhijit Guha, Topshe, aka Ayush Das, and others completed the shooting in Kolkata. Now the team reached Chennai three days ago. However, it is a bout of fever that affected the captain of the ship, director Sandip Ray. While the shooting was going on on Wednesday, the team will get back to Kolkata. From Thursday, they were supposed to shoot in Mahabalipuram. However, that schedule will be postponed.

OTTplay reached out to the team to get an update. Abhijit Guha confirmed that Sandip Ray was doing better. “We are shooting. He doesn’t have a fever at the moment. He is better but is not in a position to continue shooting continuously. We will be back tomorrow and the Mahabalipuram shooting will be rescheduled,” said the on-screen Jatayu.

Sandip Ray has brought in a new actor, Indraneil, as Feluda with his film, Hatyapuri. It was released last year during Christmas. Indraneil won hearts as Feluda. It has already been reported that the director will adapt Satyajit Ray’s Nayan Rohoshyo which features two main characters, Sunil Tarafdar and Jyotishka. The original story revolves around a young boy who is brilliant with numbers. Sunil Tarafdar will stun the audience with his hypnotizing power. He will be accompanied by Feluda’s ‘magajastra’ or the sharp mind. The film will portray the mystery behind Nayan being missing and the murder of Hingorani.
