Exclusive! Kunchacko Boban, Jayasurya’s Enthaada Saji is a feel-good entertainer set in Thodupuzha: Godfy Babu

Kunchacko Boban and Jayasurya are all set to team up for a fun, family entertainer titled Enthaada Saji, which will be directed by debutant Godfy Babu. The motion poster of the movie was shared by Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran along with the lead actors through their social media pages on Kunchacko’s birthday today.

Talking to OTTplay about the movie, its director Godfy tells us, “The movie is a fun, light-hearted film. I want to make a movie that families can come to the theatres, laugh and enjoy. Enthaada Saji has comedy and tells the story of the minor struggles and joys of everyday lives of people in a village.”

The film is set to go on floors by November end or mid December and will be shot in and around Thodupuzha. On the significance of the film’s tagline Montpellier to Illickal, Godfy, who is also its scriptwriter, says, “It’s not related to a trip, but the subject is closely related to the French city of Montpellier. The story, however, is set in Thodupuzha.”

While Jayasurya plays Saji in the film, ask him about Kunchacko Boban’s character in the movie and Godfy says, “He can be a friend, a priest, a police officer and so many other things. We don’t want to reveal that right now. Such is the nature of his character. We are also planning to reveal the other cast members soon.”

The film has Roby Raj as its cinematographer and Jakes Bejoy composing its music. Meanwhile, Jayasurya was recently busy with the shooting of the thriller John Luther and Kunchacko Boban was filming for Fellini TP’s Ottu that also has Arvind Swami as part of its cast.
