Since his film debut as the big villain of KGF, Garuda, Ramachandra Raju, who is now better known as Garuda Ram, has been doing antagonist roles across industries. Most of these characters also require him to look downright menacing, which comes quite easily to him. In a surprise twist, though, one of his upcoming roles will have him in a never-before seen avatar.

Kannada actor-filmmaker Rohitt has got Ram onboard his next, GOAT (Greatest Of All Time), a sci-fi film set in London. Ram, we hear, will play a character that’s been fashioned like the Hulk in Thor Ragnarok. Rohitt tells us, “Ram’s character is cute, sensitive and fun; he’s someone who is very particular about his skin and lip care and wears harlequin t-shirts. In a way, he’s more like a kid; a genuinely good human being. People are going to remember Ram’s character in this film. I feel it is a very well-written role.”

Ram and the rest of the cast, including Diganth and Prakash Belawadi will fly to London, where the film will be shot in September. Rohitt, who has been travelling to the UK oft in recent times for location recce, etc., is already in London, shooting for his next as an actor. This is a bilingual film with director Hari Santhosh, which will have Rohitt in the lead of the Kannada version. Once he’s done with this film, called I-LU, Rohitt will take GOAT on floors.

In an earlier conversation with OTTplay, we had spoken to Ram about being known only as Garuda Ram now. He said, “Everyone knows me only as Garuda Ram. This is a name that Prashant gave me and will remain for the rest of my life. When KGF: Chapter 1 was ready for release, the whole team was quite confident that it would do well, but not to the extent it eventually did. So, when people started addressing me as Garuda Ram, truth be told, that feeling cannot be put in words. It was unbelievable. I was proud and, at the same time, grateful to the team of KGF for having given me that opportunity. In fact, before the release of part 1, Yash had told me that my life would change thereafter, and he was right.”
