Taapsee Pannu’s Blurr has released on Zee5 recently. The film, which stars Gulshan Devaiah too, left him depressed. No, it was not because of any turmoil in his personal or professional life, not specifically.
Gulshan found it a testing time to shoot for Blurr because of the depressing weather. Despite rains, he could not enjoy the weather, which was depressing. Expressing the same, the actor said, “It was the monsoons and a hill station becoming damp and depressing. Can’t go out, can’t see anything because it’s just gloomy, foggy all day. Just depressing.”
This actor, last seen in Zee5’s Duranga, would not prefer to go back in time. However, if he could change a few things in Blurr, he’d just improve his craft in a few places. He would either be more efficient or prepare better.
When asked what makes Blurr stand out and why should people watch the film, Gulshan has a rather interesting viewpoint. “I have no clue how to answer this question. I have no knowledge or data or experience to judge when and why the audience would tune out. I don’t think anyone else has either unless you actually observe audiences doing so in real time,” he says.
The actor explains that making films is a risk. It is a chance people take, they try to do their best and hope that the audiences will like the movie. However, Gulshan is also of the view that how much and why the audiences would like any content is impossible to pre determine.
Blurr is a horror film that has released on Zee5. The movie is helmed by Ajay Bahl and is Taapsee’s first project as a producer.
