The first Fukrey film released in 2013 and Pulkit Samrat has been an integral part of the franchise since its inception. The actor returns as Hunny in Fukrey 3 that released in theatres today. The actor spoke exclusively to OTTplay about the similarities that he shares with his character, and why he calls himself 'jugaadu'.

Pulkit Samrat on the similarities he shares with Fukrey 3's Hunny
Speaking about the similarities that Pulkit shares with his character, Hunny, in Fukrey 3, he said, "It might sound a little weird, but there are quite a few things that are similar between Hunny and Pulkit, if I think back to my school and college days. I have always been a team player and was someone who would always take my gang along, brainstorming about what to do next, and thinking 'Ab iss cheez mein kya jugaad lagaye?'. So, in that sense, Hunny and Pulkit are very similar, since both never go alone anywhere. They always have their gang and friends along for company."

As the chat continued, Pulkit spoke to us more about being "jugaadu". He said, "Since my school and college days, I've always had my fukra party along with me. If I would get stuck somewhere, I would brainstorm, thinking jaana udhar hai, but agar ye nahi lag raha toh ye jugaad lagate hain. I am very jugaadu. I am from Delhi and an outsider in Bollywood. Being able to sustain in the industry for a decade and having a franchise like Fukrey: I feel isme bohot jugaad lagta hain, yaar. Only a jugaadu can do this. And this is another thing that Hunny and I share in common - being jugaadu."
Directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, Fukrey 3 stars Pulkit Samrat, Richa Chadha, and Ali Fazal in lead roles. It released in theatres today.
