Exclusive! Four More Shots Please S3: Sayani Gupta almost drowned after jumping into a frozen lake during the shoot

Actress Sayani Gupta, who is one of the protagonists of web series Four More Shots Please, the season three of which released recently, has guts! She shared with us an anecdote about on how, during the shoot of the show in Italy, she along, with co-stars Bani J and Maanvi Gagroo, jumped into a frozen lake and almost drowned.

Sayani told OTTplay in an interview, " I am one of those over-enthusiast idiots who doesn't know to swim, yet jumped into a frozen lake just because Bani and Maanvi decided to do the same."

All the actresses had a discussion with the director of the show, Joyeeta, and were planning how they should shoot a sequence in which the three women have to jump into the lake. When Bani heard the idea, she immediately agreed to try it out and ensured that Sayani and Maanvi follow her.

Describing the incident, Sayani said, "So, the three of us were supposed to jump one after the other. First, it was Bani, then me and, lastly, Maanvi was to jump. The moment Bani jumped into the lake, it was so deep and cold that she could not even breathe. Before she could catch her breath and tell us not to jump, I had already done it! The lake was It was frozen and I don't know how to swim. It was so cold that I couldn't even scream, 'Bani, mujhe bacha le'. I was drowning! However, Bani quickly she came to my rescue. I held onto her like a monkey, with all my limbs on her. It is only because I trust Bani that I did something so crazy."

That incident may have been a scary one, but Sayani now laughs when she recalls it, terming it one of her favourite YOLO moments.

"Once we kind of settled in, our skin was numb because it was freezing cold. So then we were shooting for some time without fearing anything. I mean, who would get a chance to jump into a frozen lake in a random village in Italy next, in our lifetime? You only live once yaa," laughed Sayani.
