Exclusive | Dhootha director Vikram Kumar to helm a web series starring Akkineni Nagarjuna; details inside

Dhootha marks the OTT debut of Naga Chaitanya. The suspense thriller started with a bang on Hostar and has been declared a smash hit. Vikram Kumar is the man behind this series and once again, he has given Naga Chaitanya a much-needed hit in his career.

A few days back, we at OTTplay revealed that Nagarjuna watched the show and appreciated Vikram Kumar for making such a gritty web series with a young actor like Naga Chaitanya. Well, we have now exclusively learned that Vikram Kumar will soon make an OTT project for Nagarjuna.

One of the sources close to Nagarjuna's camp has revealed to us that Vikram Kumar will soon pen a thriller for Nagarjuna and the scripting will begin in February as per the news. An official confirmation will only be made when the script work and producer are locked for this show.

Nagarjuna is the one who hogged onto the OTT bandwagon first with the Bigg Boss OTT version. In all his interviews, Nagarjuna has been stating that he will surely do a web series for OTT and is looking for the right project.

Well, Vikram Kumar is the man who has taken the initiative for Nagarjuna. This is not the first time that Vikram Kumar has done wonders for the Akkineni family. He directed 'Manam' which had the three generations of the Akkineni family and ended as a cult hit.

Now, he has once again given a hit for Naga Chaitanya and will launch Nagarjuna in OTT with a mega project. As of now, Nagarjuna is busy with the shooting of his new film Na Saami Ranga and finale episodes of Bigg Boss 7 Telugu.
