We at OTTplay already reported that Chiranjeevi's daughter, Sushmita Konidela will be producing a film with her dad. Kalyan Krishna, who made the super hit films Soggade Chinni Nayana and Bangaraju with Nagarjuna has been confirmed to direct this film. Apparently, Chiranjeevi liked the script narrated by Kalyan Krishna and gave the nod.
This will be the first time that Kalyan Krishna will direct the megastar. Well, a few days back, megastar Chiranjeevi left for the US and tweeted that once he is back, he will start a new film which is a family drama. Well, the said film will be directed by Kalyan Krishna and we have exclusively learned that the film will be launched on August 22, 2023, and will go on the floors the same day. This date is also special as it is megastar Chiranjeevi's birthday.
The family drama will showcase Chiranjeevi in a hilarious avatar and the makers are in plans to release the film during Sankranthi 2024. On the other hand, Chiranjeevi's daughter, Sushmita Konidela is turning a full-time producer with this biggie. She worked as a stylist with her dad for the last few years and turned producer by making two web series on OTT. Her first feature film as a producer, Sridevi Shoban Babu was released in March and ended as a big flop at the box office.
Meanwhile, the promotions of Chiranjeevi's Bholaa Shankar are in full swing. The family drama is all set to release on August 11, 2023. Keethy Suresh plays Chiranjeevi's sister and Tamannah is paired opposite Chiranjeevi for the first time. The second song of the film was released yesterday and has created a decent buzz for the film.
