Naga Chaitanya is one of the most talented actors in Telugu cinema and has a huge lineup of films. As his last film Custody in the direction of Venkat Prabhu flopped at the box office, Naga Chaitanya has gone back to his favorite director Chandoo Mondeti for a rustic village drama with an ocean backdrop.
The pre-production of the film has already begun as Naga Chaitanya met the fisherman in the Vizag region and spent a day or so with them to get a feel of his character. Chay plays a young fisherman in this film which is being produced by GA Pictures. Bunny Vas is the producer of this film.
Start Date
Well, we have some exclusive updates on this film. We at OTTplay have come to know that the shooting of this untitled film will start on November 20, 2023. Most of the film will be shot on the beaches of Vizag and its surrounding areas as per the news.
Budget
GA 2 Pitcures have been planning to make a film with Chay for the longest time and now that they have got a chance, they are going all out. We have come to know from one of our sources that the film will be made on a budget of Rs 55 crores which is the highest ever in Chay's career.
Female lead
The makers have approached Sai Pallavi and Keerthy Suresh to play the female lead in this film and are yet to hear back from them. Fans want Sai Pallavi to romance Chay as their chemistry was a huge hit in Love Story. On the other hand, Chay is keen on roping in Keerthy Suresh as he has never worked with her. In a few days from now on, one of these heroines will be locked.
Chay Akkineni had already worked with Chandoo on two films Premam and Savyasachi in the past. So, there is a solid buzz for this film which will be launched soon. Watch this space for more.
