Exclusive! Anirban Chakrabarti, Suhotro Mukhopadhyay, Ditipriya Roy to bring the Dakghor-vibes in a web show

Suhotro Mukhopadhyay and Ditipriya Roy’s web series Dakghor won the hearts of the Bengali audience. Now they are back in a new web show, North Kolkatar Nostradamus. The show is directed by the same director of Dakghor, Abhrajit Sen.

The show features Anirban Chakrabarti as the lead. After playing Eken Babu with Suhotra, aka Bapi, these two will lock horns in this show. X=Prem-fame Anindya Sengupta also plays a key role. The show will go on the floors in January. 

According to sources, the show will delve into the life of a man who lives in North Kolkata. While he is not a fortune teller, his predictions almost always come true. “This is a slice-of-life drama that talks about a neighbourhood and its people,” said the source.

Ditipriya and Suhotra’s Dakghor was liked by critics and viewers alike. The second season has already been renewed and is expected to go on the floors by March-April next year. According to the sources, the new show will have the flavour of Dakghor but in an urban scape. Meanwhile, Anirban is busy with the release of Dev’s Pradhan in which he plays a key character. Recently, the seventh season of Eken Babu was dropped on Hoichoi.
