Uunchai (Zee5) - 6th January 2023

Veteran Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, and Boman Irani star in this adventure drama film about three friends on a journey of self-discovery as they trek to the Everest Base Camp. Directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya, the film also features a supporting cast of Parineeti Chopra, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, and Sarika.

Mumbai Mafia: Police vs the Underworld (Netflix) - 6th January 2023

The true-crime documentary Mumbai Mafia: Police vs the Underworld focuses on the war on crime by the Mumbai police in the 90s. It explores the intricacies of the city that turned into a warzone after ‘encounter agents’ were assigned to murder members of organised crime.

Saudi Vellakka (SonyLIV) - 6th January 2023

After receiving a court summons for an old case a man is desperate to figure out the truth behind the case. He soon discovers that it was a minor conflict which was the catalyst for a larger problem that affected the lives of many. Tharun Moorthy serves as writer and director in this Malayalam drama.

Story of Things (SonyLIV) - 6th January 2023

The SonyLIV original anthology Tamil series tells the stories of humans and their surreal connection to various objects such as a transistor, an AC compressor, a weighing scale, and even a car. The series is helmed by George K Antoney.

Taaza Khabar (Disney+ Hotstar) - 6th January 2023

The life of a sanitation worker is turned upside down when he stumbles on mystical powers. This pushes him down a path of redemption and also in the crosshairs of dangerous individuals. The Hotstar original series stars Bhuvan Bam in the lead.

The Lying life of Adults (Netflix) - 4th January 2023

Based on the novel by Elena Ferrante, The Lying Life of Adults is an Italian Netflix series. The story is told from the perspective of a girl on a journey of self-discovery in the city of Naples divided by sociocultural boundaries. The series stars Giuseppe Brunetti, Valeria Golino, and Alessandro Preziosi in lead roles

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 (Disney+ Hotstar )- 4th January 2023

The animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch, is a spinoff to Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Created by Dave Filoni the series follows a squad of elite Clone Troopers who have genetic mutations. Dee Bradley Baker and Michelle Ang return to essay the lead roles in the second season of the series.

Phone Bhooth (Prime Video )- 2nd January 2023

Bollywood superstar Katrina Kaif stars in this supernatural comedy film. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh the film follows two ghostbusters who are contacted by a ghost with a business proposal. Ishaan Khattar, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Jackie Shroff essay other prominent roles in the film.
