The 17th European Championship 2024, aka UEFA Euro Cup 2024, is just around the corner. In about 10 days, the football stars from Europe will take each other on in one of the grandest celebrations of soccer. From Christiano Ronaldo to Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane, and others – the greatest of European strikers will fight to score the highest goals. With 24 countries and 51 matches, Euro 2024 is surely going to be a battlefield worth following.

Euro 2024 group division

The opening match will take place in Munich. Host country Germany will pay Scotland at Allianz Arena – the home ground of Bayern Munich. These 24 countries are divided into six groups. Defending champion Italy is said to be in the toughest group, Group B, where former champion Spain, world-ranked 10 Croatia, and Albania are also there. Here are the groups:

Group A: Germany, Scotland, Hungary, Switzerland

Group B: Spain, Croatia, Italy, Albania

Group C: Slovenia, Denmark, Serbia, England

Group D: Poland, Netherlands, Austria, France

Group E: Belgium, Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine

Group F: Turkey, Georgia, Portugal, Czech Republic

Euro 2024 schedule

The group league matches start on June 15 and will run for 12 days till June 27. Here is the schedule of the group league matches, along with the Indian time. Have a look:

The eight matches of the round of 16 – the knockout round – will take place between June 29 and July 3. The four matches of the quarter-finals are scheduled to take place between July 5 and 7. Semis are scheduled on July 10 and July 11. Finally, the grand finale to crown Europe’s greatest will take place on July 15 at Berlin’s Olympiastadion.
