Etharkkum Thunindhavan release date: When and where to watch this Suriya-starrer online

Suriya's Etharkkum Thunindhavan, which was his theatrical release after more than two years, was released on March 10. The movie directed by Pandiraj had opened to mixed response among movie buffs and audience. Priyanka Mohan played female lead in the film which had music composed by Imman. 

Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Vinay Rai, Soori, Pugazh, Devadarshini and Ilavarasu among others essayed significant roles in the project which was released in Telugu under the title ET. Suriya himself had dubbed for the Tollywood version. Initially, the makers had planned to release it in Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi, too. 

What's Etharkkum Thunindhavan about?

The film revolves around Kannabiran, a dedicated lawyer who takes up social causes and fights for them. His life revolves around his family and friends. In an unexpected circumstance, he approaches the court after his wife faces an unfortunate incident because of a dreaded womanizer who also happens to be a successful businessman. 

Kannabiran decides to take on the cruel businessman after he faces backlash from the court. Little did he expect that he would receive unconditional support from several quarters. What's his plan? How is he going to trap the intelligent criminal? 

When and where to watch Etharkkum Thunindhavan online?

The movie will drop on Netflix and Sun NXT on April 7. Most of Suriya's films in recent years had its OTT premiere on Amazon Prime Video. A couple of them had direct releases, too. Sun Pictures has bankrolled the film. The production house is ready with their next theatrical release slated for arrival on April 13.

They have decided to release Etharkkum Thunindhavan on OTT a week before their next movie hits the screens. Rathnavelu and Ruben have handled cinematography and editing respectively for the movie. The film was initially planned as a release towards the end of last year.
