Ennu Swantham Punyalan trailer out: Arjun Ashokan, Anaswara Rajan, Balu Varghese’s film gets a release date

Ennu Swantham Punyalan, the upcoming Malayalam film, stars Arjun Ashokan, Anaswara Rajan, and Balu Varghese, in the lead roles. The movie, directed by newcomer Mahesh Madhu, is touted to be a mystery comedy thriller. The makers dropped the much-awaited Ennu Swantham Punyalan trailer on social media today (December 28, 2024). It is also confirmed that Arjun Ashokan, Anaswara Rajan, and Balu Varghese’s film is slated to hit the theatres on January 10, 2025.

The 2-minute-long trailer of Ennu Swantham Punyalan narrates the journey of a young priest, played by Balu Varghese, who has a ‘controversial’ interest in young women. It is safe to assume that the Mahesh Madhu directorial narrates how the priest’s life takes an upside down, after a young woman (Anaswara Rajan) who is on a run, and a mysterious man (Arjun Ashokan) with hidden motives, enters his life one fateful night. The Ennu Swantham Punyalan trailer suggests the film will be thrilling yet fun theatrical.

Ennu Swantham Punyalan gets a release date

Earlier, it was reported that the Ennu Swantham Punyalan is getting an early 2025 release. Now, the makers have confirmed that Arjun Ashokan, Anaswara Rajan, and Balu Varghese’s film is gearing up to get a global release on January 10, 2025, as one of the first Malayalam releases of next year. Expectations are riding high on the Mahesh Madhu directorial, after the release of its promising trailer.

Ennu Swantham Punyalan features Renji Panicker, Althaf Salim, Baiju Santhosh, Ashraf, Meena Raj Palluruthy, Vineeth Vishwam, Sinoj Varghese, Surjith, and others in the supporting roles. The project is scripted by Samji M Antony. Sam CS has composed the songs and the original score. Gopi Sundar has composed one single, for the film. Randive is the director of photography. Anees Nadodi handles the production design. The project is bankrolled by Ligo John under the banner Truth Seekers Productions.
