Emraan Hashmi is one of the most versatile and talented actors in the Hindi Film industry. He is currently making headlines as he is all set to play an antagonist alongside Pawan Kalyan after impressing us with his deadly acting prowess with his character in Salman Khan's Tiger 3. Recently, in an interview, the actor discussed his experiences working in the South film industry and even compared differences between Hindi and South filmmaking.

In an interview with The Times Of India, the Jannat actor revealed details on the disparate work cultures he saw in the South Indian and Hindi film industry. He revealed that Southern filmmakers are extremely disciplined and said that their efforts pay off on screen as we experience good cinematic experiences. However, he also pointed out that Hindi filmmakers spend a lot of money on less successful ventures.

He said, “I think South filmmakers are way more disciplined than we are (in Hindi cinema). Every penny that they spend on their film shows on screen. I think we often spend money in the wrong areas in Hindi films, and it doesn’t eventually translate on screen.

He further spoke about the finesse in the South films when it comes to VFX and the scale of the films and said that we need to cover some ground to match them. "They have finesse in their films when it comes to VFX, the scale, and the choice of path-breaking stories. We have some ground to cover before we can match that, and we have a lot to learn from the way they make films," he added.

In addition, he expressed how happy it made him to be working on a film in the South. Emraan, who has become quite well-known for his protagonist roles, revealed that he never saw himself working in the South Asian film industry. He did, however, comment that both his character and the screenplay were superb. The actor acknowledged Sujeeth as a superb director and revealed that they are working on a truly remarkable project.
