Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi shared screen space with Amitabh Bachchan in the mystery thriller Chehre, which released recently. In a recent interview, Emraan talked about his experience working with Bachchan. 

“It was scary in the beginning, obviously,” said the actor, in an interview with The Free Press Journal. “I was also thinking about being compared with him. But I believe in working hard, which I did to match Amitji's calibre.”

The actor also said that he was scared that he might ruin the script and the performance of the senior actor. However, both the actors have been lauded for their performance in the movie, directed by Rumi Jafry. The actor had earlier said that he learnt discipline and dedication from the senior figure after working with him.

Chehre, which was only the second movie to have a theatrical release when it came out, is produced by Anand Pandit. Apart from Emraan and Bachchan, the thriller also featured Krystle D’Souza, Rhea Chakraborty, Siddhanth Kapoor and Annu Kapoor.

Emraan who started his acting career with Footpath in 2003 and followed it up with Murder and dark thrillers. In recent years, he has focused on more character-driven roles like in the Netflix series, Bard of Blood, and it has been paying rich dividends.
