The Indian OTT space is one of the busiest places at the moment, and adding one more show to the pool is Dharmatic, the digital wing of Karan Johar’s production house Dharma, with Showtime. The show that stars Emraan Hashmi in the center alongside a stellar ensemble has been making news for a while now, and the trailer for the same has dropped today on the internet. While the trailer has started a conversation, what is also grabbing eyeballs is Emraan’s latest rapid fire at the trailer launch even where he has yet again given some very interesting answers.

Emraan Hashmi On Bizarre Rumors

Emraan Hashmi, Mouni Roy Rajeev Khandelwal, and the team of Showtime launched the trailer in the city. Hosting the event was Karan Johar himself, who reminded the audience of the fiery rapid-fire round played by Emraan on his chat show Koffee With Karan, which keeps making news even after years and many seasons that have been released after that. So Johar decided to play another Rapid Fire with the star and asked him about one rumor that he found bizarre about himself.

Emraan Hashmi said, “I am a good kisser. And it is bizarre because I am not good, Karan, I am the best.” This left the crowd hooting as they enjoyed how bold the actor was in his answers. Emraan Hashmi after Murder and the films that followed was given the Serial Kisser tag. The actor has always been asked about the same everywhere he goes.

Mouni Royy's Rapid Fire

When the Rapid Fire game was turned towards Mouni Roy and she was asked one rumor she would like to spread about herself, she said, “that I am doing your next film.” To which Karan Johar added, “Why should it be a rumor? You have done such a spectacular job in one of our tent-pole films, Brahmastra. And for that, we are eternally grateful to you Mouni.”

Showtime, alongside Emraan Hashmi and Mouni Roy also stars Rajeev Khandelwal, Shriya Saran, Naseeruddin Shah, Mahima Makwana, and an ensemble. The show is set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on March 8, 2024. Stay tuned to OTTplay for more information on this and everything else from the world of streaming and films.
