Prithviraj recently shared a look for the Empuraan on social media. The picture featured a ring that resembled the cicada ring seen in the final scene of Lucifer. Prithviraj also tagged actors like Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, and Indrajith Sukumaran, confirming their presence in the sequel.
Why the shoot of Empuraan has been delayed
The first schedule of the shoot for Empuraan is scheduled to commence in Delhi and Ladakh. The shoot of the film was initially to commence in August but later got postponed due to an injury that Prithviraj sustained on the set of his other film, Vilayath Buddha. The actor-director had to take rest and undergo rigorous physiotherapy sessions post-injury. Prithviraj was recently seen on the set of Mohanlal's other film, Neru, which hinted that the shoot of Empuraan would commence soon.
