As the events surrounding Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 winner Elvish Yadav and YouTuber Sagar Thakur, aka Maxtern, continue to develop, BTS — the biggest group in the world — saw its Indian fans called Desi ARMY, give their opinion on the matter as well.

Why have Indian BTS fans called Desi ARMY gotten involved in this situation?

It's because Maxtern, just a couple of months ago, went on a trip to criticize the seven men — RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook — and even the fandom.

From calling them derogatory words to making videos on the K-pop group and his followers harassing the BTS fans who were trying to protect their favourite artist, Maxtern was the centre of attention for a few months.

Now, with this event between him and Elvish Yadav taking place, while many are unhappy with the way Sagar Thakur was treated, Desi ARMY seems to be satisfied, especially after all the trolls and disses they went through due to Maxtern. Many fans took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to give their opinion after realizing that Maxtern was the one who was against all the BTS trolls.

Elvish Yadav vs Maxtern latest update:

On Friday evening, the Gurugram police filed charges against Elvish Yadav for allegedly assaulting YouTuber Sagar Thakur. Several celebrities have criticized Elvish and his team's behaviour towards Sagar. Regarding the FIR (First Information Report) filed, ACP Sadar, Kapil Ahlawat, stated that Sagar Thakur submitted a written complaint accusing Elvish Yadav of assault. Consequently, a case has been registered against 8-10 individuals, including Elvish Yadav.

In the circulating online video, Elvish and his group were seen entering a room where Sagar was present and punching him in the face. Shortly after, the group began physically assaulting Sagar. Despite Maxtern's pleas for help, his efforts were futile.

We cannot verify the accuracy of the video, and the police are currently investigating the incident. "Sagar Thakur gave a written complaint to us stating that Elvish Yadav assaulted him. During a conversation with the police, Sagar expressed that he and Elvish fought over an issue on social media. The matter escalated. Sagar then presented video footage of the incident. A case has been registered against 8-10 people, including Elvish Yadav. Investigation into the case is underway," said Ahlawat.
