'Ek number', Jackie Shroff pens appreciation note for Tiger Shroff's Ganapath co-star Kriti Sanon

Kriti Sanon has come a long from where she started. The actress began her Bollywood career with Heropanti. Tiger Shroff was her first co-star. Nine years after the release of their debut movie, Kriti and Tiger reunited for Vikas Bahl's Ganapath. Although the film has opened to a mixed response, the actress has been lauded for her performance in the movie.

Her Ganapath co-star's father, Jackie Shroff, also shared an appreciation note for the actress. The veteran actor took to his official X account and penned thoughts about Kriti's film journey.

Jackie Shroff lauded the roles Kriti has pulled off in her films. He felt the actress' journey from Mimi to Ganapath had been phenomenal.

"Your journey from Mimi to Ganapath is Ek Number! Such diversity in the characters you played. Hats off! You looked awesome! God bless! (sic)," his tweet read.

Helmed by Vikas Bahl, Ganapath also stars Amitabh Bachchan. In this film, Sanon has pulled off difficult action sequences. The actress seems to have given tough competition to her co-star Tiger in regard to the action scenes.

Kriti Sanon wins National Award for Mimi

Meanwhile, Kriti recently won a National Award for her pathbreaking performance in Laxman Utekar's movie Mimi, which was released in 2021. On being honoured with a prestigious award, the actress said, "The journey has taken me about nine years today to be getting this prestigious award. But, yeah, to win the National Award within a decade is I understand a very very big thing."

On the work front for Kriti

Next, Kriti will be seen in The Crew with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu. The actress will also play the lead role in Meena Kumari's biopic by Manish Malhotra.
