British singer Ed Sheeran – a Grammy Award winner – was in India from March 10 to March 17. He was in the country to wrap up his iconic Mathematics tour, which saw enthralling performances by Diljit Dosanjh, Armaan Malik, and Prateek Kuhad to name a few. This noon, the famous global music star made a swift exit from the country. While he was exiting the country from Mumbai airport, a funny development caught the attention of the internet.

Ed Sheeran along with his team was at the Mumbai airport this afternoon. While Ed was walking towards the airport official to allow him to enter the premises, paps spotted him. Seconds later, the paparazzi requested Ed Sheeran for a photo. He cheerfully smiled at them and entered the airport.
Though this reads normal, but an interesting development has made social media users laugh out loud. While the paparazzi were requesting Ed for a photo, one of the camerapersons can be heard saying, “Edwa look behind.” Clearly, the cameraperson mispronounced the name – which is now trending online. Another cameraperson cutely requested, “Eddie, look behind please.” Hearing them, Ed Sheeran adorably smiled and waved goodbye to them.

During his week-long stay in India, Ed Sheeran got a chance to meet Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan at the latter’s Mumbai residence. The young English singer-songwriter even delivered a private concert for Shah Rukh which has emerged online. He along with SRK also struck the signature pose of the superstar – photos of which are viral too.

Not only this, but Ed also met numerous celebrities including Farah Khan, Huma Qureshi, Gauri Khan, Aryan Khan, Maheep Kapoor, and Farhan Akhtar to name a few.
This is not the first time Ed Sheeran is in India. The Shape of You singer delivered a concert in 2017 as well. Also, this is the third time he visited the country, with the first one being way back in 2015 for a private event.
