ED summons Huma Qureshi, Kapil Sharma, Hina Khan in Mahadev betting app scam

In connection with its investigation into the Mahadev betting app case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday called a few more actors, including Huma Qureshi, Kapil Sharma, and Hina Khan. 

The ED is monitoring a total of 100 online betting applications. According to sources, the agency has claimed that the celebrities have been paid by the developers of the Mahadev Betting App to advertise their product in the virtual sphere. The ED is looking into the matter with about 100 persons, including influencers and celebrities, and they will shortly summon them as well.

The promoters of the Mahadev Betting App, Sourabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal, are natives of Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, and purportedly run their business out of Dubai. Celebrities who were in attendance at Chandrakar's wedding, which was planned in Dubai at an estimated cost of 260 crore, are also being investigated by the ED and will be sent summonses soon.

Tiger Shroff, Ali Asgar, Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar, Elli Avram, Bharti Singh, Sunny Leone, Bhagyashree, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Nushratt Bharuccha, Krushna Abhishek, Atif Aslam, and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan all attended the lavish wedding that this company organized.

The investigation agency has summoned Kapil Sharma for attending the Mahadev Book app's success party in Dubai in September as well as Huma Qureshi and Hina Khan for alleged app marketing.

Ranbir Kapoor, who had been served with a summons by the Enforcement Directorate in the same matter, asked the federal investigation agency for more time on Thursday so that he could show up in person. The Enforcement Directorate has not yet made up its mind about whether or not to give the actor two weeks.
