Dunki trailer — Shah Rukh Khan's clean-shaven look will remind you of his Zero days; see photos

Shah Rukh Khan's third film of the year, Dunki, will be released in a few days. 16 days before the theatrical release, the makers of Dunki unveiled the trailer today. Titled 'Dunki Drop 4', the trailer gave us a glimpse of Rajkumar Hirani's cinematic universe. It also sheds light on the transition of SRK's young to old man look.

The one thing that caught our attention was Shah Rukh's clean-shaven look. We had a déjà vu feeling while watching the trailer of Dunki. SRK's young look in this film transported us back to 2018 when his movie Zero was released.

Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki look similar to Zero

SRK's clean-shaven avatar is similar to that of his look from Zero. The superstar played a young character in the Aanand L Rai film. Interestingly, Shah Rukh's hairdo seems the same in both movies.

About Dunki and Zero

Dunki is a 2023 film helmed by Rajkumar Hirani. In this movie, Shah Rukh Khan plays the role of Hardayal Singh Dhillon aka Hardy. The superstar will be seen alongside Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, and Boman Irani in the movie. The film is set to hit the silver screen on December 21, 2023. After Pathaan and Jawan's success, fans have pinned high hopes for SRK's next project.

As far as Zero is concerned, the film featured SRK with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the movie opened to mixed reviews in 2018. Unfortunately, the film didn't work at the box office.

On the work front for Shah Rukh Khan

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh made a comeback to movies after Zero with Pataan in 2023. The superstar impressed everyone with his action-packed avatar in the Siddharth Anand directorial. Later in September, his movie Jawan, helmed by Atlee, was released on the silver screen. SRK left everyone surprised with the way he pulled off a double role in the mass entertainer.

Next, Shah Rukh will begin working on Tiger vs Pathaan. He is expected to begin shooting for the film with Salman Khan in 2024.
