Shah Rukh Khan's roaring return
After a five-year hiatus, Shah Rukh Khan stormed back onto the silver screen in 2023, delivering a triumphant trio of blockbusters: Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. His absence, following the underwhelming performance of Zero (2018), had left fans yearning for his return. But when he finally returned, the Badshah of Bollywood roared back like a beast. Both Pathaan and Jawan shattered box office records, becoming the highest-grossing films of the year. This remarkable comeback cemented Khan's position as one of the most dominant forces in Indian cinema.

While Pathaan was released on Amazon Prime Video, Jawan and Dunki were released on Netflix. Dunki offers a unique experience compared to both. Dunki's story
Driven by big dreams of a better life and fueled by desperation, four friends from a rural Indian village embark on a clandestine and perilous journey, their sights set on the shores of the United Kingdom. Their path, however, is anything but ordinary. They choose the dangerous ‘donkey flight’, a twisted network of illegal routes spanning continents, each step fraught with danger and uncertainty. Smugglers become their guides, shadowy figures navigating them through hidden borders, dangerous territory, and the ever-present threat of authorities. With each sunrise, they take risks for their freedom, their futures, and even their lives, all for the elusive promise of a new dawn on foreign soil.
