The anticipation for Dunki is peaking with each passing day. It is Shah Rukh Khan joining hands with Rajkumar Hirani, a filmmaker who has never seen a single flop in his two-decades-long journey. The promotional content is divided into Drops, and while we are not done obsessing over Drop 2: Lutt Putt Gaya, SRK surprised his fandom with Drop 3 and it is the most awaited song and King Khan’s favorite.
Shah Rukh Khan decided to make our last working day of the week full of emotional energies because he has released the most awaited and emotionally charged song from the Dunki album and it is none other than Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se. Sung by Sonu Nigam, the track is composed by Pritam and penned by the legendary Javed Akhtar. The lyrics are for everyone who is away from their homeland and misses their homes.
An emotional homage, the track was teased in the Dunki trailer and the fans were waiting for it to drop. Fulfilling his fans’ wishes, Shah Rukh Khan shared the track with a very emotional caption. He wrote, “Aaj aise hi dil mein aaya yeh gaana toh aapke saath share kar raha hoon… Raju aur Sonu naam se hi lagte hain ke apne hi koi honge. Aur yeh gaana joh dono ne banaya hai, yeh bhi apnon ka hai. Apne ghar waalon ki yaadon ka hai…apni mitti ka hai…apne desh ki baahon mein sukoon milne ka hai. Hum sab kabhi na kabhi apne ghar se…gaon se…shehar se door nikal jaate hain…zindagi banane ke liye…lekin dil hamaara apne gharon mein hi rehta hai…desh mein hi rehta hai. Mera favorite from Dunki….”

Calling it his favorite track, King Khan wrote how it is an ode to everyone who misses home and has been away from it. He calls Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se from Dunki his favorite track and expresses how Sonu Nigam and Rajkumar Hirani together feel like family to him.
