Duniya Vijay and Co. wrap up first schedule of the action saga 'Bheema'

Looks like the making of Duniya Vijay's second directorial is in full swing at the moment. Titled Bheema, the film took off a few weeks ago and the team has already wrapped the first schedule without any blips along the way. The same announcement was made through a BTS video that's now available online and it is apparent that the whole team has gelled well together on the sets. 

Duniya Vijay, who's credited as Vijaya Kumar in promotional material of Bheema, had made his direction debut in 2021 with Salaga and garnered good praise from the critics and audiences alike. Both Salaga and Bheema fall in the action-drama category and seem to comprises similar elements but it would be interesting to see how the writer in Duniya Vijay sets the two apart. Maasthi Upparahalli returns to pen the dialogues with Charan Raj, following the fruitful collaboration in Salaga, will score the music. 'Bairagee' producer Krishan Sarthak produces the film along with Jagadeesh Gowda. This will be Duniya Vijay's 28th film as an actor.

Vijay will also play the lead in the film that now boasts of many new and exciting talents. Along with noted names like Achyuth Kumar and Kalyani Raju, Bheema has Gili Gili Chandru and Black Dragon Manju on board with the latter pitted against Vijay's titular character in the film. 

On the other hand, Duniya Vijay will also be making his acting debut in Telugu cinema alongside superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna. Vijay will play the very fierce and vicious Musali Madugu Pratap Reddy in #NBK107 (working title) and the actor was super excited to reveal his look from the film to all his fans. Vijay is joined by Shruti Haasan, P. Ravi Shankar, John Kokken, and many others in the film directed by Gopichandh Malineni and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
