The world of Dune: Prophecy sucked us right into it, and there has been so much to look for and dissect. The best part about the show has been how well everything is being cooked, and there is no hurry to reach any finish line here. One of the biggest mysteries of the show has been who Desmond Hart exactly is. The man who just appeared out of thin air is now the most influential man in the Emperor’s court and the biggest threat to the Sisterhood. We know he aims to destroy the concept of Sisterhood and end every single member he chooses to call witches, but there has been no clue on who he is. Turns out episode 5 comes with the same.

Dune: Prophecy Episode 3 Ending Explained

Episode 5 of Dune: Prophecy was about answering a lot of questions before the finale episode hits JioCinema. We were introduced to Francesca in the first frame as she entered the Emperor's private meeting where he announced Hart as the leader of his armies. We are told Constantine is Francesca's son with the Emperor, and it now changes everything. Meanwhile, Valya is doing everything she can to stop Desmond Hart, but nothing is really helping. Right in the middle of all this chaos, she gets a blood sample of Hart after he has shown his power to an entire court by killing four men who smuggled thinking machines.

The end of episode 5 sees Tula back in the Homeland of Sisterhood, testing that blood sample and trying to find out who Desmond Hart is. A quick search has the thinking machine reveal that the blood provided is from the bloodline of Atreides and Harkonnen families. This shocks Tula, who looks up the details, and we now know why she is shocked. In case you do not recall, the third episode took us back in the history of the Harkonnen sister about how they landed in Sisterhood. Valya always wanted revenge for the murder of her brother Griffin at the hands of Atreides.

Tula took the job to exact revenge and went into the Atreides camp with her plans. There, she bonded with Orry, whom she fell in love with. The night she plotted the silent death of over a dozen Atreides, she got intimate with Orry, whom she eventually killed the next day after showing him who she really was. So, Desmond Hart is mostly her son with Orry, whom she might have abandoned. The show has told us how he has made several trips to Arrakis, and the last one gave him invincible powers.
