Dulquer Salmaan's first reaction on joining Kamal Haasan's KH234: 'A learning opportunity of a lifetime'

Actor Dulquer Salmaan on Monday expressed his gratitude after bagging a key role in director Mani Ratnam's upcoming movie, which is temporarily titled KH234. The producers officially announced Dulquer joining the movie's star-studded cast led by Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan.

"A legendary reunion of the masters Mani Sir and Kamal Sir ! A learning opportunity of a lifetime. So blessed and grateful to be a part of #KH234," Dulquer tweeted his first reaction to the announcement.

Ahead of Kamal's 69th birthday on Tuesday, the producers of KH234 are all set to reveal the key details of the project. A title announcement teaser is due on November 6, giving the audiences a glimpse of what to expect from the iconic reunion of Kamal and Mani Ratnam.

KH234 will end over 36 years of anticipation of the fans to see Kamal and Ratnam join forces after the iconic Nayakan. It won't be wrong to say that the 1987 movie Nayakan is a cornerstone of Indian cinema and it redefined the face of mainstream movies at the time.

Despite the magnificent success of Nayakan, Kamal and Ratnam didn't work together till now as the duo waited for the right script that could justify their legendary reunion.

In that sense, KH234 has already created quite an excitement among the cinephiles worldwide. The buzz is this upcoming movie is going to be action-packed. With stunt duo Anbariv aka Anbumani and Arivumani (Leo, Vikram), on board, fans can expect a lot of freworks on the screen.

In the meantime, KH234 also marks Dulquer's reunion with Ratnam after a long time. He played the lead role in the director's 2013 hit OK Kanmani, the film which made him an instant sensation among the youngsters in Tamil Nadu.
