Dulquer Salmaan goes rugged and intense in his first look from Guns & Gulaabs

Much to the excitement of the fans, Dulquer Salmaan will be seen in a web series titled Guns & Gulaabs, marking his Netflix debut. The actor will feature alongside Rajkummar Rao and Adarsh Gourav in the Raj and DK-directed series. After Rao, the first look of Salmaan has been unveiled by Netflix India. Set against the backdrop of the 90s, the Malayalam heartthrob is seen with a rugged look while sitting on a jeep bonnet.

DQ took to his Instagram page and shared his first look from Guns & Gulaabs. He wrote, "Put on your seatbelts and get ready for a ride back to the 90s with me. Here’s presenting my first look from Guns & Gulaabs, my first ever web series and my first collab with the amazing duo @rajanddk. @rajkummar_rao, @gouravadarsh, @tjbhanu, @gulshandevaiah78 and our other talented co-stars will join me for this thrilling ride. Guns & Gulaabs is created, produced, and directed by @rajanddk @d2rfilms, coming soon on @netflix_in."

Earlier, during an interaction with OTTplay, Salmaan revealed that he wasn't planning on doing a web series. However, the actor has always been intrigued by the structure of the narrative, and it's something he enjoys watching. Raj and DK's art is also something he admires. 

So, when DQ first heard the narration, he fell in love with the world, his role, and, of course, Rajkummar and Adarsh, who are both incredible actors. These are the kinds of things he enjoys doing. At the end of the day, everyone in their generation and beyond is yearning for new experiences. More than an exceptional recipe in his career, Salmaan believes that's what he's looking for. The actor is looking forward to these new experiences that he is having all over the place.

Meanwhile, here's Adarsh's first look from Guns and Gulaabs, which is quite different from what we have seen from the actor before.

The streaming date of the Netflix series is yet to be announced.
