For the past several days, Jeethu Joseph has been promoting Nunakuzhi, his most recent movie. During all of the interviews, he was frequently questioned about the status of Drishyam 3, his most eagerly anticipated next project. The filmmaker revealed information regarding the third installment of the Mohanlal film, which is regarded as one of Jeethu's most well-known works to date, in an interview with Red FM Malayalam.

Jeethu Joseph's update on Drishyam 3

In response to a question on any updates on the project, the director stated he needed to establish a compelling starting point for the picture. To the astonishment of his fans, Jeethu did, however, disclose that, after visiting the sets of a reality programme for the promotions of Nunakuzhi, renowned singer K S Chithra had a fascinating idea about how to start the third installment. She serves as a judge on this show on Asianet.

Even though I already had an idea on how Drishyam 3 would begin, Chitra's amusing query about what would happen if the movie began in a different way got me to consider it from another perspective," he said. Jeethu asserted that he always gets ideas for his films from the most unlikely places. For example, the filmmaker had an idea for Drishyam's climactic scene—in which Georgekutty buries Varun's body beneath the police station—while playing badminton.

Huge anticipation for Drishyam 3

In the suspenseful drama Drishyam, a father fights against all odds to keep his family safe while they become embroiled in an awful situation. The movie is available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. It was released in theatres in 2013 and was a major box office hit. Both moviegoers and critics praised it for its compelling story and acting, and many were looking forward to a sequel.

Rave reviews were also given to Drishyam 2, which can be watched on Amazon Prime Video, for living up to people's high expectations. Director Jeethu Joseph proved to be a skilled thriller filmmaker with these two films, which provided Mohanlal with his biggest recent hits.
