Dream Scenario Trailer: Nicolas Cage becomes everyone's 'man of dreams' in this surreal comedy film

Dream Scenario is a one-of-a-kind surreal comedy movie starring Nicolas Cage in the lead role. Written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli, the forthcoming film recently premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 2023. The makers released the official trailer on Tuesday that sees Cage as a man next-door personality, but the unusually fun part is that he becomes everyone's man of dreams, literally!

The latest trailer begins with one of the college students explaining to her friend how she dreamt of their professor, Paul (Cage) last night and also witnessed an earthquake in the dream sequence. Moving on, a woman suddenly stops the same college professor and casually tells him how saw him in her dream last night. Post that, he comes across a few more people, who reveal to him about their dreams last night and how they witnessed him in their visions.

Release date

Written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli, the upcoming flick is bankrolled by Lars Knudsen, Ari Aster, Tyler Campellone, Jacob Jaffke and Nicolas Cage under A24 and Square Peg. Dream Scenario, which also features Julianne Nicholson, Michael Cera, Tim Meadows, Dylan Gelula, Dylan Baker and Kate Berlant in significant roles along with Noah Centineo, Nicholas Braun and Amber Midthunder as key characters, is slated to be out as a theatrical release on November 10.
