Double Ismart - Here's when the teaser of Ram Pothineni, Sanjay Dutt starrer will be out

Double Ismart is Ram Pothineni's latest film, which has been in the making for a long time now. After a chunk of the shoot was wrapped up, the action drama was halted all of a sudden due to financial issues. It was rumoured that the main lead Ram Pothineni avoided coming to the sets until a part of his payment was cleared.

But we at OTTplay have already reported that Ram had no such issues, and the problem was with the makers, who were seeing issues in production due to their finances. Now, the issues have been cleared, and a new schedule kicked off in Mumbai a few days ago.

There is a lot of negative buzz for this film as director Puri Jagan's last film, Liger, was a massive flop at the box office. To clear all these issues, the makers have decided to release the teaser of the film. We have come to know that the teaser of Double Imsart will be released on May 15, 2024, and plans for the same are being made as of now.

Puri Jagan and Charmee Kaur are co-producing the film on their Puri Connects banner. After the failure of Liger, they took a lot of debt and started this film. So, right from the beginning, this film has run into financial issues. Sanjay Dutt plays the main villain in this film, and he has been paid close to Rs 6 crore as his fee.

Double Ismart struggling with its pre-release business

All this has piled up as a financial burden for the makers. As Liger was a massive flop, the pre-release business of Double Ismart is also happening on a very dull note. According to the news, not many distributors are coming forward to buy the film in Telugu states.

Double Ismart is the sequel to Puri Jagan and Ram's hit film, Ismart Shankar. That is also one reason the film is in the news.
