Dongalunnaru Jagratha trailer: Sri Simha Koduri fights for his life in a car in this unique survival thriller

Suresh Productions and Guru Films will have consecutive releases in two weekends this September - Saakini Daakini and Dongalunnaru Jagratha. While the former hits screens this Friday, Dongalunnaru Jagratha will arrive at the theatres next Friday i.e. September 23. Dongalunnaru Jagratha is a survival thriller, written and directed by Satish Tripura. Mathu Vadalara fame Sri Simha Koduri headlines the film that also stars Preethi Asrani, Samuthirakani. The film's trailer was launched today.

In the survival thriller, Sri Simha Koduri plays a thief who comes to steal a car on the road and tries to flee. However, to the shock of his life, he realises he has been trapped within a car and has no room to escape. He cries for help asking people on the road, calls his near and dear on the phone, but there's no hope in sight. He tries to break the car windows, sneak through any possible outlet within the vehicle. Later, he discovers a bomb in the car that can explode any moment.

Sri Simha, in the trailer, even gets a call from the antagonist who warns him that his end is near. Survival thrillers are an unexplored genre in Telugu cinema and it requires a storyteller to have a great command over his craft and screenplay to keep the audiences engaged for a two-hour runtime. It remains to be seen how Telugu audiences receive this intriguing experiment on the big screen. Suresh Babu, Sunitha Tati have produced this film in collaboration with Manzar Studios.

Yeshwanth C has handled the cinematography for the film which has music by Kaala Bhairava. Garry BH, who has come up with a slick trailer, has edited the film. Gandhi Nadikudikar is the art director. Yuvaraj Karthikeyan, Chhitra Subramaniam, Vamsi Bandaru are the co-producers. Guru Films, one of the producers, is also backing the international film Arrangements of Love, headlined by Samantha.
