Ever since the announcement of the film Don 3, fans have been excited about every detail of the film. Starring Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani in the lead roles, the action-packed film is directed by Farhan Akhtar. The film was announced last year and since then there hasn't been a major update about the film apart from the fact that Kiara has been roped in as the leading lady. Now, a report revealed that the filming of the movie will commence at the end of the year.
Don 3 shooting update
Ranveer Singh's film, according to a report by Dainik Bhasker will start filming by the end of this year and will be wrapped within four months. It has also been reported that most of the action-packed sequences will be shot in foreign locations, including London and Germany.
"A few days ago, Farhan Akhtar has reached London with the core team of this film. He has gone there to finalize the location for the shooting of Don-3. Apart from London, the production team will also go to Germany. It is possible that apart from London, the film will also be shot in many cities of Germany,” reported Dainik Bhaskar.
It is to be noted that when Don 3 was announced with Ranveer Singh as the new Don, a lot of social media users slammed the film and the makers for replacing Shah Rukh Khan. However, speaking about the same, Ranveer, on Koffee With Karan said, “Ek chance dedo, 12–13 saal me thik thak hi kaam kiya hai maine, toh ek mauka toh banta hai (Give me a chance; I have done decent work in the last 12-13 years, so I deserve a chance).”
Referring to the backlash for replacing SRK, Farhan earlier told BBC Asian Network, "We went through the same emotional process when Shah Rukh did it and everyone was like ‘Oh my God, how can you replace Mr. Bachchan?.’ That whole thing happened then."
Meanwhile, while announcing the film, Farhan shared a video clip introducing Ranveer's character. In the promo, Ranveer said, “Sher jo so raha hain woh jagega kab, puchte hai yeh sab. Unse keh do phir jaag utha hoon main, aur phir samne jald aane ko…”
