The buzz around Don 3 is refusing to fade, and the makers are making sure that the fire keeps going with periodic announcements and the big reveals about the movie. After announcing Ranveer Singh as the lead of the franchise after Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, the makers this week confirmed that Kiara Advani will be the new female lead after female actors like Helen, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas have marked their attendance in the franchise. But one actor who is a part of many Don 3 rumours has now decided to shun them all and break the hearts of the fans who thought we might see him opposite Singh.

Emraan Hashmi Refutes Rumors

Emraan Hashmi has now decided to break silence on whether he is a part of Don 3 or not. The actor who is right now busy promoting his show Showtime, has now taken to his official Instagram handle where he shared the update that he is not a part of Don 3 in any capacity. In a statement confirmed he is not playing any part in the Ranveer Singh starrer he wrote, "For the fans and journalists that are asking, I was never a part of Don 3. Was never offered the movie."

The rumour started when Emraan Hashmi was spotted in the city by the paparazzi and a miscommunication led to another. As per report when one of the paps present there said “Don 3 villain”, Emraan gave a smile and showed a thumbs up to the camera. This was taken as a confirmation by the paparazzi and soon the media portals started writing reports about how Farhan Akhtar and Excel Entertainment has hired Hashmi as the new villain for their most awaited film Don 3.

But turns out that nothing about this entire row is true and Emraan Hashmi is nowhere in he contention to play the villain in Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani starrer Don 3 that is to be directed by Farhan Akhtar. There are no plot details about the movie out yet and everything is on an early stage of development. Recently we even saw the production designer sharing a glimpse from their prep for the much-awaited movie.
