Dominic And The Ladies’ Purse: Mammootty wraps up Gautham Vasudev Menon’s next; major update soon?

Mammootty is joining hands with senior filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon for his next outing in Malayalam cinema. The first look poster of the project, which has been titled Dominic And The Ladies’ Purse, was revealed on the megastar’s birthday. If the reports are to be believed, the legendary actor is playing the titular character Dominic in the film, which marks Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Malayalam directorial debut. Now, the recent updates suggest that the much-awaited project is nearing completion.

Mammootty wraps up Dominic And The Ladies’ Purse

As per the latest updates, Mammootty has wrapped up the shooting of his portions for Dominic And The Ladies’ Purse. The megastar completed his portions for the Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial with the ongoing Munnar schedule of the film. If the reports are to be believed, the filmmaker and his team are planning to wrap up the entire filming of the highly anticipated project, very soon. In that case, we can expect a major update on the same during the Onam celebrations, which will begin tomorrow (September 14, 2024).

Dominic And The Ladies’ Purse update be out soon?

According to the grapevine, the production banner, Mammootty Kampany might surprise the Malayalam cinema audiences with a second look poster from the film, or a special teaser, on Thiruvonam Day (September 15, 2024). Even though there is no official confirmation on the same yet, it is safe to assume that the rumours are indeed true, as it is the biggest festival occasion for the Keralites across the globe. An official confirmation on the same is expected to arrive soon.

Mammootty is appearing as the titular character Dominic, a lazy yet skilled private detective in Dominic And The Ladies’ Purse. As the title suggests, the Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial reportedly revolves around an investigation, which has a ladies’ purse as its prime evidence. Gokul Suresh, Lenaa, Viji Venkatesh, and others essay the supporting roles in the film. Darbuka Siva composes the music score. Vishnu R Dev handles the cinematography and Anthony handles the editing, respectively. The much-awaited project is bankrolled by Mammootty’s home banner, Mammootty Kampany.
