Does Asur 2 actor Anupriya Goenka like bad boys? | Exclusive

While the world of the latest released web series Asur 2 is surrounded by bad boys, or at least Asurs can be called one, Anupriya Goenka, who plays a pivotal role in the show, busts some myths on the statement, 'girls like bad boys'.

During an interview with the cast members of the show with OTTplay, when Amey Wagh, who is playing an antagonist in the show, made a statement that 'I think girls like bad boys', Anupriya quickly replied to Amey, "Well, most of the boys are bad boys, so then we have no choice but to like bad boys, right? (laughs) I know many times there is this idea that girls like bad boys, but I think that is a wrong assumption. It is their way of saying, 'We need to be bad so that you girls like us!' No, I do not think girls like bad boys. Be good, and we will love you more! You haven't experienced love when you are good, so be good to a girl and get out of that concept—that wrong concept that girls like bad boys!"

Though in the past the actor appeared in some of the most prominent roles in popular web series and films, after the release of the Asur 2 trailer, she said the show was a turning point in her career.

"Asur has been one of the most crucial roles for me. I am extremely proud of the show, and I am happy to have worked with some of the most creative minds in the process. It’s heartwarming to see the love it’s getting from everyone," she said.

Asur 2 also stars Ridhi Dogra, Barun Sobti, Arshad Warsi, Amey Wagh, Meiyang Chang, and Gaurav Arora.
