Doctors: Sharad Kelkar plays passionate neurosurgeon Ishant Ahuja in medical drama | Watch new promo

JioCinema is bringing a new captivating medical series, Doctors. Starring Sharad Kelkar in the lead role, the plot follows the story of a group of physicians who are facing struggles and victories while treating their patients. It delves into the life of doctors who work relentlessly to save a patient's life. Ahead of the release, the makers introduced Sharad's character in Doctors.

On December 16, JioCinema shared a new promo of Doctors to introduce us Sharad Kelkar's character. He will be seen playing the role of one of the best neurosurgeons in India, Ishant Ahuja. He is loved by his patients and on the other hand, Ishant takes great care of them. 

The promo shows Sharad as Ishant treating his patients with a smile on his face while the latter take a sign of relief seeing one of their favorite physicians. However, he also faces crisis at his profession and tries hard to save the situation with his dedicated team members.

Sharing the promo, the streaming platform captioned it, "A silent battle to choose between their oath and inner voice. Watch the Doctors trying to save lives. Doctors, releasing on 27 December only on JioCinema Premium."

Doctors revolves around the lives of a group of physicians in Elizabeth Blackwell Medical Centre. Sharad Kelkar along with his colleagues take care of their patients while facing ups and downs. The plot describes the mental and physical stress doctors face, highlighting how their demanding roles affect their well-being.

On December 15, JioCinema shared another promo of Doctors which showed Sharad Kelkar encouraging his team members to not give up in critical situations. He told them, "You are not studying to pass your exams but you are studying for the day you are the only one standing between a patient and its grave."

Doctors is produced by Siddharth P. Malhotra and Sapna Malhotra under Alchemy Films Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Jio Studios and directed by Sahir Raza.

The cast includes Sharad Kelkar, Harleen Sethi, Aamir Ali, Viraf Patel, and Vivaan Shah in significant roles.
