Doctors on OTT: Sharad Kelkar tries hard to save patients' lives as a passionate physician | Watch new promo

A new series, titled Doctors, will be released on JioCinema. The medical drama stars Sharad Kelkar, Harleen Sethi, Aamir Ali, Viraf Patel, and Vivaan Shah in key roles. The series will explore the lives of doctors who try their best to save patients' lives. The makers have already shared the trailer and now dropped a new promo ahead of the release.

Doctors new promo

On December 15, JioCinema shared a new promo of Doctors on their official Instagram account. The video shows Sharad Kelkar along with his medical team trying hard to save patients' lives. The video also shows Sharad saying to his team members, "You are not studying to pass your exams but you are studying for the day you are the only one standing between a patient and its grave."

Sharing the promo, the streaming platform captioned it, "Not all heroes wear capes, some wear surgical caps Doctors, releasing on 27 December only on JioCinema Premium."

Doctors plot

The trailer takes us to the world of Elizabeth Blackwell Medical Centre which captures the struggles and victories of doctors. Sharad Kelkar plays a passionate doctor who inspires his colleagues in intense situations, reminding them of the life-and-death stakes in their profession. The plot describes the mental and physical stresses faced by doctors, highlighting how their demanding role affects their well-being.

On December 13, the makers shared the trailer and announced the release date. Reacting to the post, one fan wrote, "This is a totally different concept all the together first time explored all the best looking forward to it." Another shared, "Eagerly waiting for it." A third fan wrote, "Finally it's coming out; can't wait."

Produced by Siddharth P. Malhotra and Sapna Malhotra under Alchemy Films Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Jio Studios and directed by Sahir Raza, the cast includes Sharad Kelkar, Harleen Sethi, Aamir Ali, Viraf Patel, and Vivaan Shah in key roles. 

Doctors promises an engrossing experience blending the complexities of the medical profession, drama, emotions and suspense.
