Priyanshu Painyuli has spent his entire life in the defence industry, and now he's getting to play very personal roles. He played a police officer in the recent suspense film U-Turn, and his upcoming role as an army officer in the war picture Pippa is highly anticipated. Priyanshu, on the other hand, is adamant that every production be unique, even though he secretly hopes to make it big in a romantic comedy or a comedy.
When asked what's happening with Pippa, the actor told the Hindustan Times that it is currently in the cooking process. A gas cooker takes longer to cook some foods than a slow cooker. AR Rahman composed the music. It's now being edited and finished in post-production. This period drama with plenty of action is not easy to watch. They worked out with real soldiers and even used tanks in their shots. This results in a highly frantic post-production phase. They're also trying to figure out who would make a suitable date. The story of these three siblings and their separate paths is fascinating. Ishaan Khatter and Mrunal Thakur were all siblings involved in the Bangladesh War of 1971. The older sibling here is Priyanshu.
Priyanshu shot to fame with his role in Extraction. On being quizzed about whether he was a part of the sequel, the actor went on to say that many people in the second section questioned him about whether he was there. He is not. They all got shot in the head and died in the first act; that's the conclusion of their respective tales. Chris Hemsworth's character, Tyler Rake, takes centre stage in Extraction 2; this time, the mission and setting are different. The Russo Brothers and director Sam Hargrave are masters of action. He knew they had upped the ante when he saw the trailer. While the action in Extraction was spectacular, this new chapter goes above and beyond.
While talking about whether being a part of Extraction brought some added benefits to his career, Priyanshu shared that the film's introduction helped him gain more opportunities and a small but dedicated international fan base. They all call him the Extraction person, yet they're from all over the world. Now that he has an agency that pitches overseas ideas, his team is on the lookout for exciting opportunities in other countries. The actor had a great chance last year. Still, the timing of his responsibilities in India coincided with the aftermath of the pandemic and carried over into the second wave of new opportunities. Due to prior commitments here, Priyanshu was unable to make any promises regarding foreign deadlines. He has no complaints; his work at Pippa and on other projects was fascinating. There was a lineup, and he must have missed some of them.
Being an OTT star, does Priyanshu have a craze for the big screen? To which he replied that he thinks so. The actor didn't come to movies to star in a single genre. The tasks he is carrying out right now couldn't be more dissimilar from one another. In the film Rashmi Rocket, Taapsee and he shares a dance scene. That was one seriously grown-up romance. He would love to act in comedies, rom-coms, or masala flicks. The large screen is always a sight to behold. It was a new feeling when he saw himself in Bhavesh Joshi Superhero. For an actor, acting is acting, regardless of the medium. No matter what medium their fans are exposed to them through, they will adore them. One is so vain as an actor that they want to star in every movie. Currently, he is more into OTT projects. Pippa, one of his subsequent theatrical releases, has him very excited.
