Do Patti trailer OUT: Kriti Sanon and Kajol promise a 'twisted tale' of love, lies, and crime

Kriti Sanon and Kajol's film Do Patti is one of the most anticipated OTT releases of this month. Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, the movie marks Kriti's debut as a producer. She has co-produced the film with writer Kanika Dhillon. Days after the first song's release, the makers of Do Patti have finally unveiled the trailer of Do Patti. By the looks of it, Kriti Sanon and Kajol's film seems to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller.

Kriti dropped the official trailer of Do Patti on her official Instagram handle. While sharing the same on IG, the actress wrote, "Twists, turns, rivalry, love, hurt and an important subject that the entire team feels strongly for (sic)." In this film, Kajol plays the role of a police officer while Kriti has a double role. The actress will be seen as Saumya Sood and Shailee. As for Shaheer Sheikh, he essays the character of Dhruv Sood. Written by Kanika Dhillon, Do Patti is a story of two sisters who are harboring deep secrets while an inspector tries to uncover the truth in an attempted murder case. 

When did Kriti Sanon announce Do Patti?

For the uninitiated, Kriti Sanon announced Do Patti on July 5, 2023. The actress penned a long note about collaborating with Kajol and Kanika Dhillon for the film.

A portion of her social media note read, "Superrr duperr excited to reunite with Kajol ma’am after 8years! kajol Kanika - I’ve always loved your writing & I’m so happy to be co-producing my first with you! Ufff.. this is a special one! kanika.d kathhapictures This one is gonna be a thrilling game with a lot of heart! A first for Blue Butterfly Films (sic)."
