After revealing interesting posters, teaser, and trailer, Do Aur Do Pyaar is finally ready to release on Friday. Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D'Cruz, and Sendhil Ramamurthy starrer is a romantic comedy with a new twist in the love stories. The film is hitting the big screens this Friday, April 19, 2024. We have now got to know where the film will stream after its theatrical run. Yes, Disney+ Hotstar has been revealed as the OTT partner of Do Aur Do Pyaar, and it will drop on the streaming platform likely two months after it entertains the audience in the theatres. 

What is the plot of Do Aur Do Pyaar?

The narrative of the film revolves around a married couple who are on the verge of splitting up and they end up involved in passionate extra-marital affairs with two attractive strangers. When they finally decide to reveal their secrets, fate has different plans for them and the real twists and turns of the story unfold.

The film is directed by debutant director Shirsha Guha Thakurta and is produced by Sameer Nair, Deepak Segal, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar, and Swati Iyer Chawla, under the banners, Applause Entertainment and Ellipsis Entertainment Production. 

The ensemble of Do Aur Do Pyaar

The romantic comedy introduces a new on-screen couple Vidya Balan as Kavya, and Pratik Gandhi as Anil. They play a married couple in the film. The film also stars Ileana D'Cruz as Nora and Sendhil Ramamurthy as Vikramand.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with PTI, Gujarati actor Pratik Gandhi, who rose to fame with Hansal Mehta's Scam 1992, spoke about how he was starstruck after meeting his on-screen wife Vidya Balan. He revealed that when he was offered the film, he was called to meet the actress and they did a couple of readings but he was dealing with his starstruck moment throughout. "I actually had to behave normal, and think, ‘I’m just meeting a colleague’. I had to behave like that,” the actor added.
