Disney's Wish: Check out its release date and star cast

Wish is an upcoming musical animated feature movie produced by Walt Disney. The story follows a young girl named Asha who wishes on a star and gets a more direct answer than she bargained for when a trouble-making star comes down from the sky to join her.

Ariana DeBose, Chris Pine, Alan Tudyk, Angelique Cabral, Victor Garber, Natasha Rothwell, Evan Peters, Harvey Guillén, Ramy Youssef, and Jon Rudnitsky have lent their voices for the characters in Wish.

Disclosed the news about Wish in 2022, the movie was in the making since 2018. It has been written by Jennifer Lee, who previously wrote Frozen. Besides having a few similarities with Moana and Encanto, Wish has some special animation techniques that merge the classic watercolour appearance of their early hand-drawn animated movies with modern-day CGI.

Release date

Today Disney revealed that Wish is coming to theatres on November 22, 2023. Interestingly, unlike other Disney movies, Wish will not be released on Hotstar. It will solely rule the theatres.
